This will be a good thread!!!
I brush every other day and bathe every 2 weeks. Trimming weekly or every other week.
I should have took before and after pictures the other day. Ill have to get some at next weeks trim and maybe bath again.

Ive started using Skouts Honor probiotic shampoo and conditioner their fur is soft after(and it helps with loose fur since using it brushing after is much better). And they smell good and not like wet dog. 😂
I need to get a blow dryer though.
Brushes/tools: Safari slicker brush, Safari undercoat brush, Safari nail clippers, grooming scissors(not sure the brand), a hand glove(not sure the actual name), double sided brush(nylon bristles on one side like a normal brush on the other), single row undercoat rake, then a rubber brush that was reccomened to us by a groomer(ill have to edit my post later and update on the names), dremel for nails also if they allow me to.
I use vets best ear cleaner(although im thinking of trying Skouts Honors).
Then i have some paw and nose lotions(Burts bees, paw bliss(i think) and another)

Was a groomer for about 15 years. Still have all my equipment. Most of my dogs don't need much for grooming. Just the Australian shepherd gets a bath and blow out with a high velocity dryer as needed. 2-3 times a year. The Boston bulldogs clean up with a damp washcloth. Occasionally a bath. Nails are done every few weeks, teeth are brushed a couple times a week. Boxer gets a good rub down either with my hand or the zoom groom brush to loosen shedding hair as needed.

That’s awesome!!! I love having a short coated dog who doesn’t need much except the occasional bath lol

I still occasionally imagine grooming a coated breed like poodles or schnauzers. My favorite was always Airedale terriers. Nothing like a well groomed dogs.

I knew someone who had Airedales. They were cool. Also knew someone with a poodle. Loved that poodle.
