What age will i be able to tell the colors for sure and their genders??

"Helmeted" is the type. By now you should notice a bump on their heads- both of them- that will develop into a triangular point. That's the "helmet". You have a lavender and Royal purple,both beautiful birds.
The female will be easily recognized w/a 2 syllable constant "come back!" Or "buckwheat". You start noticing this around 8 wks.
The male is a single syllable chi, fairly quite in comparison, mostly whistles and chirps.

Helmeted Gui9nea Fowl is the breed. Lavender and Royal Purple are the Varieties.
