I have 4 chicks that are not tame, I was wondering whether it would be a good idea for me to start handling them so they would get used to my hands when they're older. + any tips on taming chicks?

Reach in from the side, NOT from above. Put treats on your hand and allow chicks to approach, and walk on your hand without you grabbing them. Eventually they will not be afraid of your hand, and at this point try lifting a chick with your hand under, not over it. Hold it briefly at first, getting it used to longer holding periods.
