Hatcheries in New Mexico?

Hello all,

I live in Albuquerque, NM and new to backyard chickens. I am looking for a good hatchery folks have had good experience getting chicks/pullets before?
Has anyone had a good experience with Privett Hatchery in Portales? Any local recommendations?

I have never ordered directly from Privett, but I think the feed stores in NM often order from there and I haven't ever had notable problems with my feedstore chicks. Ideal Poultry is another good option. It is not NM based but just over the border in Texas and I had a very good experience ordering from them last year. This year I went with Cackle because I wanted sexed bantams. Even with the extra distance, everything went perfectly with my order and they even sent me extra pullets!

There are also many small time backyard breeders ad and local swaps in the greater Albuquerque area.

Looking to connect with chicken keeper in ABQ area. I have a bumblefoot case and would love some advice.. Thanks!
