I have 4 (supposed to be) pullets from Murray McMurray and one is making me nervous. I ordered a bunch of sexed chicks and 3/15 turned out to be cockerels so far (a CL, Partridge Cochin and Egyptian Fayoumi).
Now I’m worried one of my Faverolles is a male. Hoping she’s just has terrible coloring for a hatchery bird :idunno

Pullets.

We've had SF females from 2 sources. One was dark colored, like I see in your pics (Meyer Hatchery, 2018). The other two were much lighter and more similar to pics we see of proper SF females, but one was better colored than the other.

Nice and docile. However, we ended up getting rid of ours each time bc too docile in a mixed flock - they were truly the targets of the rooster for mating and for any pullet/hen wanting to pick a fight, but they would just sit/lay and take it all. So, we decided they would be happier in a smaller or less mixed flock.
