Hatching F1 and F2s due Nov 2

We put another batch of eggs in today 2024-10-11
Lockdown day: 2024-10-29
Hatch day: 2024-11-01

This batch includes some purchased eggs from a neighbor and from my own May-June babies So a true backyard mix is gonna pop out.

Most of the chicks should be black or black patterned. Some will be barred. Some may be lavender if I got really lucky.

Some will have a naked neck from the turken roosters.

The ones with a head crest are from Cream Legbars.

The feather-footed ones come from F1 Grass Dancers.

There may be some white paints from F1 Marshmallow.

The Ayams seem to run together so I'm expecting most of the cream eggs to be pure Ayams that continue laying cream eggs.

I'm not sure! i read the high-level FAQ hatch-a-long thread and looked at the top posts and they didn't make a lot of sense to me. I saw a lot of sponsoring eggs and I wasn't sure what that meant.

But in general I do intend to post updates on this batch!

From what I’ve seen a hatch-along is just where you number the eggs, list their breed(if known), and let people pick an egg to root for.You can also let people name an egg if you pick a theme.Hope this helps,if you end up doing one please post the link here!

oh that makes way more sense! and sounds like a ton of fun.

these ones are already in the incubator, but imma definitely do this for the next set.
