Hatching fertile eggs from Trader Joe's?

Has anybody tried hatching fertile eggs bought from Trader Joe's? I was at the store the other day and they were selling fertile eggs by the dozen. Is this better than hatching eggs sold on eBay?

I personally haven’t, but I know of people who have and who have had some success with it. It probably depends on how exactly they were stored and handled and transported in comparison to eBay sellers. I’ve had shipped eggs online that have had amazing success and some with no success at all. I think it has a lot to do with how the individual seller packs and how far their journey is.

I've hatched TJ eggs before. My most recent batch was 7 chicks out of 12 eggs. Make sure to check the number stamped on carton to ensure you're getting the freshest ones possible or ask an employee which days they get new shipments in.
