Hatching problem

Hi everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle! I put 18 eggs in my incubator, I candled them and 14 were fertile, on hatch day 4 pipped so I waited,...and waited.....the next day (24hrs) one had his beak out, he stayed like this for 2 more hours cheeping loudly so I thought the only way to help him was to push his beak back in...20 minutes later he was out and is absolutely fine. However the other eggs all failed, they had fully formed chicks but they were dead?! Any suggestions? My incubator is the king suro 20. Tia xx

I'm not familiar with that incubator, but what temperature and humidity did it maintain through lockdown?

It was 37.5 temp and 45 humidity. Humidity was then raised from day 18 to 65 although day before hatch the humidity was up at 79 for some reason but it came back down.

Hmm, I'm not sure, if the temp and humidity were good and the turners were off.

If the incubator is all good and no shrink wrapping, next on my list would be parent stock nutrition and genetics. Have you had issues with eggs from other hens or breeders?

It's been in storage for a few yrs but the previous eggs were ok. I bought the ages from a reputable seller too
