My Canada goose is now about 4 weeks old. He's on non medicated Purina start and grow. He also gets some lettuce and spinach leaves everyday. However his legs and feet are starting to get paler and his beak has some pale markings. He seems to not want to get his feed now, but he still wants the spinach and lettuce. He swims 2 or 3 times a day. He also seems to have more runny and smelly bowel movements since yesterday afternoon. Advice on what to do for him?

I use waterfowl feed it is better for them and has the niacin that they need in it already and you do not have to supplement. At 4 weeks you can start them on adult waterfowl feed. There are so many things you can try with your gosling. Kale, broccoli, romaine, lots of grass, cut up grapes, peas if it like peas. Just try a few you have cooked for yourself. No margarine or anything on them. Mine go nuts over grapes. My geese are Sebastopol's. You can try cut up tomatoes. Remember geese are mainly vegetable grass eaters. You can give dandelion leafs they are great for them. Stay away from anything with lots of iron in it. Iron is NOT good for geese.... Corn. I give mine left over cooked corn. I put sugar in it for us. No seasoning just sugar and they come running across the lawn for it!!!

I saw somewhere in the forums that someone makes a smoothie for their young ones of kale, romaine lettuce, grass, and a bit of natural plain yogurt. He doesn't seem to like it that blended. And he doesn't seem to want the watermelon either... He is digging all the grass blades in his water though.

Be sure it's young tender grass and not thick and long unless you cut it up, they can get impacted if they eat grass that's thick and long. my goose loves chopped kale, Romaine lettuce, and they will even eat cabbage. and like RURU said cut up grapes they really like, Just make sure to wash any store bought veggies real good because of pesticides, unless you buy organic.

Oh my I forgot to tell you to feed chick grit to your gosling when feeding greens to them. If you take the gosling out daily for greens or even when you give greens make sure the have access to chick grit.
They can find grit outside while grazing but if kept in the house they do need grit.
