Hi, Im in SE Tx and have had chickens for some years and really enjoy having them. I currently have 21 hens and 1 rooster. I have white leghorns, buffs, road island reds, red star and 1 Easter Egger. I love that my chickens are pets as well as providers of eggs, I enjoy them following me around the yard and letting me pick them up, petting them and then settling them down gently and establishing trust. I enjoy sewing and crocheting while my husband likes to garden. We pastor a small church in a very small town. Bigthicketdeb
