Hi everyone.. I am a new to chickens again mom.. took a few yrs off.. now I have 7 americana's,7 speckled sussex..6 ducklings and 2 broad breasted turkeys.. is there anything new in the chicken world I should know?? And how big should my coop be with this many girls.. all r in the brooder now

Chickens should have 4-5 sg.feet per bird inside the coop not including roosts or nest boxes. , and 10 sq.feet per bird in the run. Glad you joined us at BYC.

glad you have joined us. My you do have a really mixed poultry flock. I have experience only with a small flock of chickens, and don't know specifics about housing ducks and turkeys or housing all 3 types together. You may be interested it the ducks and turkey forums, and should consider posting the question there if group housing is what you are planning.
