Thank You very much!
I like you for this wonderfull link, I have been stuck on it since I clicked on it lol.

Is is nice to know and meet other Wisconsonites that keep chickens.

I had to pry myself off the site last night, I was reading every page and following every link I could find.

P.S. I love your name

Are you still reading?

Henderson's chart and www.feathersite.com are two of my favorite sites! Henderson's chart gives you so much detailed breed information in a handy format and I love all the breed pictures on the feathersite.com poultry pages. Feathersite has a lot of great links for other chicken information and businesses, too, but the pictures are real eye candy!

Have you been over to the Mad City Chickens web site or forum? The forum isn't very active, but it's a good place to find someone to split a hatchery order or find some local chickens, when you're ready.

I also like this events calendar for WI. It hasn't been updated for the events in early 2009, yet. It can be a lot of fun to go to shows and look at the different chickens.

Living in the woods defines so much of my life and daily activities. It just seemed right to have it in my screen name.

I think it's smart that you want to learn everything you can before you get chickens. That way you can plan ahead and won't have so many surprises.

BTW, I think the mods need to give this gal a custom title.
