Hello guys I’m Paul from Santiago of Chile.
i’m living in a countryside near to Santiago (1 hour by car)
I’m also raising Muscovy ducks.


(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I’m new into a chicken

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Around 20.

(3) What breeds do you have?
4 Collonca Hen
1 Collonco Rooster
many Criolla Hen (ordinary chilean Hen)
1 Bare neck Rooster

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love to have my own chicken with a natural Life, feeding with corn, wheat, bugs, etc, and of course to get natural eggs ( I love blue one)

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Build a home made incubator machine.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I’m owning a machinery company for 12 years (forklift rental) I’m married with two children, my native language is Spanish (sorry if I said something wrong, welcome to correct me) XD

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I was searching some info in English about Mapuche or Araucana Hen.

What an interesting introduction; I am not familiar with your chicken breeds, but I know a little bit about Muscovy ducks -- although all my ducks are Indian runners.
