(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I randomly got chickens in my backyard one day. I tried to find their owner, but to no avail so I kept them lol, that was 3 years ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
12 chickens now
(3) What breeds do you have?
1 those island red, 3 frizzle Cochins, 1 regular Cochin, 5 Silkies (4 are babies lol), 1 Americana, and 1 frizzled Silkie.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their different personalities, and how cute they can act.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading or watching Anime/manga. Drawing. Learning more about finances.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 pet turkeys, and 2 pet quails. I own my own business as an online reseller.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I’ve known about the site for like 2 years but I couldn’t find an answer to a question that I had so I decided to finally get an account. I am really happy this place exists because getting other folks insight is amazing.
