Animal lover. Currently have 8 house pets
Bocboc, a dog, bunny, 2 rats, tree frog, and 2 snakes.
I have twin girls who are 8, who are absolutely in love with Bocboc and they named her Rosie twinkle. But she will always be Bocboc to me. She's helping me type this right now 😂 pecking away at my screen

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D

My friend who gave me Bocboc recommended this community for information and for me to post about Bocbocs pampered life.

Thank you for having me 🥰

That's neat. I'm a twin, too. Bocboc sounds like a fun chicken. I third the request for pictures if you have any. We are big fans of pictures here.

Are you planning on getting Bocboc a friend? It will probably do okay by itself, but I'm sure another bantam would make Bocboc happy since they are flock animals. They all do have their own personalities, though.

Thanks for joining and welcome to BackYard Chickens!

Aw cute!! Most chickens love to roost perched on a bar at night to sleep. It keeps them out of their poop, too. You might consider making her some sort of roosting bar to try out 🙂
She has a roosting spot that I made a bit thicker and more comfortable to perch on. She does perch on it, but if left alone for too long she cries out.

She roosts on top of the edge of the upside down wooden house. But often will nest in the shavings right under the heat lamp beside the rock I put in there to help keep her warm. The heat lamp is also close enough to her roost that it will keep her warm too. But she seems to enjoy being in little nests, Tucked in like the spoiled Bocboc she is. Lol
