HELP! BUTTON CHICK ACTING STRANGE!

Help! my button chick's neck looks strange (idk how do describe it... almost like mangled with no blood) and it keeps stretching its neck up then doing a downward cough (?) I checked throat, can't see a blockage, gave nutria drench. it is still walking around with mama, it just seems sleepier, and kida looks like it keeps its head scrunched up (?) HELP!

Is the neck twisted? If so I think your chick has a wry neck. Wry neck is very common in all sorts of baby birds. I had a duckling which suffered from this. Search up wry neck, there are many home-made cures for it, but sometimes it isn't treatable. What I did is get a small foam/sponge block and make a small hole, then put the chicks head through, making sure it doesn't strangle. Please do some research on wry neck before hand though, just incase what you've described isn't that!

I have already been treating it for wry neck, but it is coughing like which I have never seen in wry neck.

Is he just streaching the neck or twisting it back like star gazing ?

he is standing up real tall and stretching neck down and opening beak.. almost like he stretches up and coughs down... he isn't constantly doing it, he just seems sleepier and he looks "fluffed up"

Oh no, hate when I think my chickens are ill, so stressful! Hopefully someone will be able to help!
