HELP Day 19 - hen pooped in nest box

It is day 19 and she pooped in her box!

I read after day 19 you’re not supposed to handle the eggs. How can I clean this out before chicks hatch?

She is super lazy, I get her out daily to eat and she goes back and still insist to poop while she is nesting. I clean it out but I don’t want to mess up the eggs being we are day 19!

Any advice??

Your doing the right thing. You can mess with them, I’ve not had any problems messing with eggs at day 19 to hatch day under a hen. If she it pooping all over the eggs I’d get an egg carton, put them eggs point side down, and put in fresh hay or whatever you have in the nest box

Okay! I will do this! Egg cartoon and sit them point down while I quickly clean out the litter! I just hope she doesn’t poop in nest hatch day
