Help. Duck still alive in egg...

My duckling is on day 29. There was no signs of live. Did not move in water, no veins when i candled. It stop moving when my husband unplug the incubator one night. The eggs were ice cold in the morning. I have no found signs of live from that date. My last ducking hatched today and i told my daughter i was going to get rid of the other eggs today. Again no signs of live in 7 days. So i opened up the air sack and opened the membranes there is a live baby duck. Yikes . . I had to dig for the head it was deep in the shell. The membrane had no bleeding veins. I had to move it gently to get beak out. I can still see yolk. It is moving it mouth and even chirped at me . how do i save it.

Keep it in the incubator and have humanity at 60%..Wait as it needs to absorb its yolk.

Day 29 is not late. Next time leave the eggs alone...
Leave the egg alone. Keep humidity up. If membrane starts to look dry apply coconut oil or bactracin no pain relief to keep it moist
Other than that not much you can do

Thanks i put in a snack bag with it unzipped by the beak to try and keep as sterilized as possible. I left the new hatched duckling in there because it is responing to it. I feel so bad..... I only opened it because my daughter wanted to see what color it would of been. I use to see it move its foot in the egg but the foot has been in the same place for 7 day with no movement. We even but it in water at watched it 3 time in 7 days and there was no movement. And on candling there we no visible veins. I hope she makes it. I am so sad.

That’s another case showing how bad the “float test” is!! I hate it, I’m sorry. Way too many false negative conclusions from such a stupid test.

Anyway, not your fault. I hope it makes it.
