I have a silkie hen that just started laying and I’m pretty sure her eggs are fertile. I do not have a rooster and she is currently separated from the main flock (I separated her a couple weeks ago) because she was getting picked on. Is this normal? Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Are the eggs able to be hatched?

It takes a while after being separated from the rooster for the eggs to not be fertile. The eggs can most definitely be hatched, but they will most likely be infertile very soon.
I don’t have a rooster, not even in my main flock and she has never been around one.

Not possible to be fertile without a rooster and breeding.
Why or what do you think you are seeing to make you even think this could be possible?
Never mind my why or what question. Second look at your pic and I seen the spot your seeing. I took it as just light the first glance.

Well either your silkie is not laying fertile eggs, or you have a rooster somewhere. Can't have one without the other
On what I’ve read when you crack open an egg there should be a dot in the center meaning it’s infertile, but when there’s a ring around it like a bullseye, it’s fertile and her eggs have a bullseye. I currently have her in a cage so there’s no way a rooster would be able to get to her. Plus my other hens are laying infertile eggs so I really just don’t know.
