Hi all!

I was given a set of 6 chicks who were being bullied and attacked by the mother hen.
The farmer wasnt sure of what breed they are and but sure they are either welsummer or cream legbar. All roughly 2 weeks old
This is my first set of chicks and I am struggling to sex them....any help would be appreciated!

Sexing will be much easier when they are a few weeks older yet, so the males will start showing obvious comb & wattle growth.

Given the specific breeds you mentioned:

Blue Ring and Black Ring look like Cream Legbar males. That's going by down color, especially the pale spot on the head, and also by the amount of white in their feathers.

I'm not sure about the others, because Welsummer chicks and Cream Legbar female chicks can look the same when young. And as they grow a bit older, a cross of the two breeds (either gender) could go through a stage of looking very much like a Cream Legbar female.

If any grow black feathers all over their breasts, you can trust that they are male.
