Hi,
I will be building a tractor in a couple of months and my biggest concern is how to add two wheels with a lever to raise or lower the wheels to the back end so I can move the tractor about more easily. I have a couple of acres around the house and horse pasture in which I can move the tractor.
So first big question is how to build the wheel mechanism? Or a source for a good kit?
Preferably with pics and details.
I am handy but never having done this before, or at least since building go-karts as a kid.
This is the design I am currently favoring:

I am considering making my tractor a bit larger as I have 19 hens. or maybe I'll end up with two tractors.
Last question which I may post elsewhere: In the past I had broilers sharing a pen with sheep and it worked great because the chickens ate most of the flies that were attracted by the droppings.
Win Win!
So, can I use my chicken tractor in the paddock with the horses?
Thanks!
