help mites and lice chicken

My chicken has mites or live on him I haven’t found any info on the internet of how to treat mites/lice on the chicken he is quarantined and has been so for over a week

Get some permethrin or pyrethrin dust powder from the farm store. Make sure you get their backs so it can trickle down and their butts well.

A permethrin based liquid spray or dust is efficient for treating ectoparasite infestations in poultry. Usually, when one bird is affected, other birds are, therefore, it may be best to apply the same treatment to the whole flock. In the evening when the birds are on the perches, spray/dust each bird thoroughly, focusing near their vent, wings, and neck area, ensuring the dust/or spray gets in good contact with their skin.

After all, birds have been sprayed, clean the coop, and dust/spray all the perches, nesting boxes, crevices, etc. Repeat the treatment in seven to ten days.
