She was completely fine last night when i put her up for bed and today it looks like her beak was TORN?
Shes still eating and drinking just like usual but what do i do???

I know for a fact her boyfriend, Ramsey, didnt do this - hes very gentle with her so im assuming she got caught on something?? Although im not really sure what she couldve been caught on...

We have zero vets that deal with chickens near me so that isnt an option

Note: she looked fine this morning when I let everyone out at sunrise, then when I checked on them again in the afternoon I noticed she had another egg in her box so I went to go check on her (I do this with all my hens) and noticed her beak looked almost sunburnt, upon further observation her beak on her left side is completely torn
I watched her for a little bit and she is eating and drinking and making her "duck noises" all like usual and it doesnt seem to bother her at all

Update:
She has a vet appointment 2hrs away, soonest they can see her is in 2 weeks.
She completely broke her beak and pus is coming out of that pocket. We trimmed it back since there was no blood vessels in that part, cleaned it out and let her rest. She seems to be doing OK.
She also received a bath for mites just in case she had any, so bugs wouldnt get into her wound and shes staying inside for the time being..

If anyone has any advice PLEASE reply to this thread. I cannot lose this hen. I raised her from a baby and she was the only d'uccle of that batch of 3 that made it to adulthood. I watched her first baby hatch out. I watched her lay her first egg. She means a lot to me.

Picture is what we trimmed back, we kept dabbing it with iodine and trying to get as much dirt out as possible but since its near her nostril it is a very sensitive area and we dont want to hurt her.
