I checked my hens as usual, in the afternoon and checked again in about an hour, just as I was leaving I noticed blood on one of my hens beaks, Chucky's.

At first I thought maybe shes pecked someone, but on closer inspection I realized her foot was bleeding, and she was messing with it.

It looks like the nail tip has broken and revealed some flesh causing all the blood. She is still very bossy and bonny, eating drinking etc.

I have separated her from the rest of the flock as they kept pecking it, I also bathed it, and have also put a soft wrap (Basically a plaster xD).

Is there anything else I should do, or I shouldn't do to help her recover? =/

Replies highly appreciated!

Ah okay! Thank you ^_^
I will apply some of that straight away

quick stop for dogs and cats nails, men's styptic powder, silver nitrate, or in a pinch corn starch + pressure for a few seconds should stop the bleeding. She should leave it alone when it is not red and oozing. TRy to keep her on very clean (pine shavings are good) bedding for a few days if possible to keep the area clean. Avoid having her in mud or walking in chicken poop until the end is sealed & dry.
