She made a poo and it was not solid and okay it was runny and mucousy but not bloody and shes not eating or drinking shes just standing around and keeps going to the corner to be alone. I keep trying to find the dosage for giving her the corid orally, but i cant find anything. Last night my mom sent me a video on the coccidia and chicks and a gal said to mix 2ml of corid to 1 gallon of water so i did that and she wouldnt drink so i grabbed her and slowly and i mean drop by drop as she would swallow i put the 1cc of water in her mouth and then stopped when she refused to allow me to do anymore (cause she probably was full and i didnt want to over do it and hurt her or worse) this is my first time dealing with this and im freaked becuse i have goats and i know how bad of a toll coccidia can be and i dont want to lose anymore of my Maran chicks. am i doing the right thing, am i off have i been misinformed? is there an oral dosage i can give this chick? just so she can get better enough to eat in 24 hours. i really need advice.

How old is your chick? Do you have any poop pictures? Corid is only given in the water, although you can give 0.1 ml per pound of weight of the undiluted Corid once a day as a boost. Otherwise dosage is 2 tsp or 10 ml per gallon of water (or 1/2 tsp per quart) for 5-7 days. That is the maximum treatment dosage. After 5-7 days you can reduce the dosage to 1/4 dosage for another 5 days if needed.

Okay thank you I unfortunately do not have any poo pictures because it disappeared 2 seconds after hitting the ground like sank into the shavings but it was gooey and white but clear for 2 seconds once it came out. this specific chick is 7 days old she was born on the 15th and picked up on the 17th. And been doing great until now.
And okay I will put 8 ml into the gallon with the 2 ml I just put in and get it all situated.
