What is killing my ducks. I had 21 ducks, 5 years to 1 year old. This morning i lost my 4th duck with in 4 weeks. First one died about 4 weeks ago, the 2nd died one week after the first. The third duck died 5 days ago and the fourth died last night. What diseases might be attacking my flock? The duck that died last night seem to be a little weak kind of droopy when she walked for the past two days. She ate but separated herself from the rest of the flock. Two nights ago I found her in the run and had to pick her up and put her in the coop. The ducks that died are only Ancona. I have never had any of my ducks just die like that. What might it be.

If you can, please have one of the dead birds tested at a lab. You can inquire at a local vet where that would be.

There are many different things it could be.

Also check their food for signs of mold, and if there is anything toxic they might be getting into.

I checked online and Ancona ducks are hardy and are not more susceptible to illness. Are you saying you have more than one breed but only your anacons are falling ill? Or are you saying tour flock is all anaconas?
