Hen just stands in the corner kind of puffed up

She is the puffed / fluffed one there?????? she sticks to herself, just wanders , ??



She just stands there , I picked her up and checked her abdomen and didn't feel a stuck egg, I saw her drink water, her crop feels empty







I put a squirt of blue kote on her so I could tell her apart,,,

Are you seeing any diarrhea with mucus or blood in her droppings? How old is she? Coccidiosis can be a problem with younger chickens, or with ones who have moved to new soil, or when new chickens have been added. Corid is the treatment in the water. Look her over for lice and mites. If she hasn't been wormed lately, that might be something to consider. I would probably bring her inside for a day or so to give her some electrolytes and watch her more closely. Egg, tuna, and moist feed may be good to offer with a little plain yogurt for probiotics.

No lice or mites, I did put /rooster Booster Electrolytes in the water yesterday. When I let the chickens out this morning I watched her to see if she would eat like the others,,, didn't eat or drink,,,, I try to find her fresh poo

How old is she? Has she had any laying problems in the past? I would probably get some Sulmet or Dimethox (sulfadimethoxine) at your feed store, and treat her for a possible intestinal infection. It treats coccidiosis and some other infections. Corid also treats coccidiosis, if you have that instead. Is there any way you can cage her for a few hours on some puppy pads or paper towel, and get her warmed up, to look at her droppings?

Problem solved!!! Sour Crop,,,,, is basically a yeast infection.

I said it felt empty,, I turned her upside down and squeezed out her crop , Foul smelling, brown liquid came out and I gave her ACV /water, she is some what better today but still working on it

I let her have some electrolyte water while we went to town when we got back, she had pooed, it was diarrhea, the first pars was very green but the last part was creamy pale tint of green, So I think that is a good thing~~~~~I let her eat some chick starter, she had just a bit and I took it away,,,,,
BUT!!! now she shakes her head, sticks out her neck, opens her mouth WIDE (she was doing that before we left) SO maybe she is ??? adjusting herself????
The rest of the flock is fine, no problems,,,,
