Looks like she laid an egg inside a softshelled, malformed egg. Hopefully just a glitch and things will return to normal. If she seems to be feeling OK, I'd just keep an eye on her for a bit, see how the next few eggs go. Often this is just a one time thing.
You think the egg is still edible?

It may be! I'd crack it and look. When ready to use it, crack it into a small bowl first to have a look. If it's normal sized then it may be normal inside. Sometimes if they are smaller than normal it may not have a yolk, or have a odd yolk. If it looks OK, then it's very likely fine. I would use it.

It’s a soft shell egg. Hopefully it’s a glitch but if he continue to see them it could be a sign she isn’t receive sufficient calcium or has a defective shell gland.

Good luck!
