Hen Necropsy - Salpingitis? (Graphic)

I lost one of my hens yesterday. She was a year and a half old. She was ill for a few weeks, with fairly indistinct symptoms like a pale comb, growing weakness, and weight loss. When I noticed she was ill I isolated her and gave her warm baths in case she was egg bound. I also tried checking for an egg but couldn't feel anything. Since it's getting cold and my hens just molted/are molting I wasn't suprised that she wasn't laying.

I also de-wormed her, and provided her extra wet food with nutri-drench. Until the last day not much changed, she still was slow but mobile, had an appetite, and had quite wet but otherwise normal poops. I had vaccinated her for Marek's when she hatched, but after a while the poultry DVM symptom checker had me worried about leukosis/cancer.

Then shortly before she died she became much weaker and laid a nugget of weird tissue. When she died I did a necrospy and was shocked to find that while most organs like her liver looked small but normal, her oviduct was massive and stuffed full of the same tissue. Is this a very bad case of salpingitis that killed her, or possibly something else? And what should I take away from it? Should I be prepared to treat hens with similar symptoms with antibiotics? Should I be worried about the rest of my flock? Any advice is appreciated.
