hen or roo

is this a hen or roo? barred rock and australorps is what I incubated. hatched march 1-2. approximately 5-6 weeks old.

I recently got Barred Rocks. They are now 10 weeks old. They are both females and they comb wan't the size of that little chicken's when they were that age. I'm guessing roo, but you never know

I think barred rock cockerels have male-specific feathering. It looks like a pullet to me but I have never kept BRs. You might want to search the subject and see if there is an article or thread about it already on this site.
