Hen or rooster??

Hello, I’m new to raising chickens and I’m looking for an opinion. We got chicks about 6-7 weeks ago from a tractor supply type store. One of them is a sapphire gem and is starting to get a bright red comb and starting to make “throaty” noises that sooooort of sound like a crow maybe? They said they’re all female at the store but I’m more too sure. Anyone able to tell from a few picture? Any help is really appreciated!

Ya at that age with that comb I'd say cockerel.
Male SGs are supposed to be barred and females not but that wire is throwing me. Barring can be hard to see on blue and I can't tell. It doesn't really look barred so

Cockerel and looks like a Sapphire Gem. He has big bright red comb and wattles. It also looks like he has some faint barring on his wings which is a male trait.
