Hello!

I adopted a Hen and have her in Quarantine. I notice she Sneezes a lot and has a "Horn" sound. It is non-stop.

I have other Hens but never had this and thinking it is Respiratory?

Any advice?

Can you examine her nostrils to see if food or mucus is stuck? Have you added any new chickens who might have brought in a respiratory virus? Is she alert and able to eat and drink?

No new chickens -- she is the new one Lol! Nostrils & Eyes look good. Very alert-eats, runs to me for treats, drinks & active.

I’m having trouble seeing the video. I would keep her isolated. If she would have infectious bronchitis, that is fairly contagious. It can cause sneezing every few minutes with mild congestion, and lasts about a month. She also may just have something irritating her nostrils, and that would be much better. Where did she come from? Was she exposed to other chickens from a sale?

She came from my Neighbor who had No other Chickens except the Rooster that I also have🙂. Both are in isolation. He is fine. I have had them both since March 10, 2025. Noticed the Hen's problem about 2 weeks ago. Thank you all for you help!
