My hen, 1.5 year old named Meenu, is sick. She was totally fine a couple of days ago. Suddenly, she started having swollen sinuses, which got normal on their own. But her flu like situation stayed. Took her to vet yesterday who gave her Enrofloxacin. But before I could start it, she became lethargic and absolutely stopped eating. She layed a shell-less egg last night and since then it has been the same, lethargic hen trying to find a corner to sit in all puffed up. She ate a little from my had today but it was just some cucumber pieces. I did give here soft baby formula mixture and electrolyte water along with her medicine. I have made sure she remains hydrated by giving here the water with dropper. She accepts everything when fed with dropper though.
Thing is, her nose is fine, she is breathing through her nose. The nose is not running either. It is just that she is coughing really hard at times and it feels like there is something stuck in her throat that is making it difficult for her to breathe. There is wheezing also (although less than yesterday but still is there) that is audible easily.
Please tell me a way to fix this. I need something that would work asap. I need Meenu to live. She is my best buddy. We brought her as a week old chick and she grew up all healthy and fine until now. I have no idea what happened to her. She stays indoors all the time. Never goes out of the house. She is always free to roam around and only goes into her coop at night to sleep.
We have another hen who seems to be absolutely fine.
PLEASE HELP ME SAVE MEENU! SHE IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN PAST COUPLE OF YEARS!

Hi! Thanks for the reply.
She feels really uncomfortable when there is wheezing. I think the drug is right as she looks better today. Eating a little on her own and walking a little as well. The problem with here sneeze/cough remains, there is some wheezing as the mucus in there is causing hindrance in breathing then she sneezes hard a few times and it gets better for an hour or so.
I just want my baby to get rid of this mucus or whatever it is.
As for dropper thingy, thank you for the link. It is very helpful. I will be very careful with it from now on. Thanks!
