Hi All,
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! I got my first chickens in early May
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 4 lovely ladies
(3) What breeds do you have?
Nyx- Fibro Easter Egger (1), Frejya - Bantam Mottled Cochin (1), Lilith - Black Araucana (1), Morrigan - Black Copper Maran (1)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Since I hand raised them they're so sweet, it's fun to visit them and watch their reactions to things.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love gardening, anime, and also collect/play Pokemon TCG lol
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
It's my fiancé and I, as well as 5 cats and 1 dog on 22 acres that still need a lot of work. I was done at 4 cats by the way, but that last one just showed up at our backdoor (someone dumped him) and it's unlikely for strays to survive where I'm at...
I work remotely as a Sales Coordinator for a Japanese company, and have ADHD.. which means I have minimum of 5 projects/ hobbies going on at any one time lol. Right now is a new coop, fruit trees, a catio, and my hobby room.
I'm thinking a goat and shed is next so I can battle the blackberries.
