In September 2024, I was given three ducklings, and since I had no idea about ducks, I searched for information and found them. Since then, I've been reading your articles to learn how to care for them properly. In Spain, it's very difficult to find valuable information about ducks. Everything I found focused on how to care for meat ducks to improve their production, but it was far from providing them with real well-being. They saved my three children from many mistakes, thank you for that!

They are three males (something I suspect could end up causing me problems), and I'm studying the situation to see how to approach it.

I'm not entirely sure about their breeds; one is white and the other two are brown, named Goyo, Arturo, and Santiago.

They live in a fenced area of my garden, about 12 square meters in size, with a secure 6-meter run where they have shelter, food, water, and a pool. They also go for walks in the rest of the garden when I'm there (they can't always do that because I have many other animals and the situation needs to be monitored).

Overall, I think they have a wonderful life. I'm leaving you some photos of them when they were ducklings and how they are now. Thank you for creating and enriching this forum daily. Big hugs!
Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad BYC was helpful to you for caring for your pretty ducks.

Thank you for the pictures!

We're glad you're here!

Hi Cincin, welcome. I didn’t read your story. Hope you post it once more in translation.

Everyone here writes in English and I appreciate it if you do the same or use a translate program before posting.

Doing so myself, it was a good way to improve my English. When I started to post here I used google translate a lot, but nowadays I rarely do. People don’t mind if I make a few mistakes. ❣️
