Hi everyone! I am new to this forum. I had become an accidental chicken owner around two months ago, based in NYC. I have two chickens that’s I’m still trying to figure out the breed of as well as debating their genders. I hope some of you professional/senior chicken caretakers can help me as I care for my two lovelies! :D

Hello and Welcome to BYC. Glad to have you joined with us in this Poultry Loving Community. The one with the big comb and wattles is a rooster and I think the other a pullet.
I honestly kinda hoped both were girls but one just looked more like a roo because they were different breeds. At first I thought the black one was a black sexlink since it has the gold neck feathers and the oily/greenish hue feathers in the back but now I don’t know anymore.

I’m adding some baby photos of them if it helps! (Please mind the silly poses) should also mention they’re about 9-10 weeks and haven’t crowed yet. They also play fight when I let them out in the morning.
