Hi hi y'all!

Hi hi from Central Florida!

I am a newbie chicken owner that has been helping taking care of a family member's chickens from time to time for about a year now and just recently started owning my own flock about a few months ago. I was gifted a Golden Sebright Bantam rooster from a neighbor who wasn't able to take care of him. One turned to three after getting two Spangled Old English Bantams when I got worried he was feeling lonely in his former bachelor pen. Then chicken math got to me when I took a visit to Rural King for feed and came back with 4 more bantam chicks so now I have an official bantam flock of 7

I joined this forum as while I have read some literature and did research, I know how important it is to learn from experienced chicken owners as well! Especially as I'm looking to upgrade their current pen and convert a plastic playhouse into a coop before the 4 chicks are fully feathered and big enough to be let outside.

Here are some pics of the Bug flock!

From left to right: Roach (Golden Sebright Bantam), Flea and Tick (Spangled Old English Bantams pullets), and the little stinkbugs (unknown breeds and will receive names once I learn their personalities more)
Welcome to BYC! You have a great looking flock...wish I could add bantams to our flock one day.

Hi! Your bugs are cute! I hope you keep us posted with the littles and how they're growing! There is a breed ID forum with some very knowledgeable IDers there if you are ever interested. (They'll be easiest to ID once they're close to fully feathered.)

Thanks for sharing your intro, cute pics and welcome to BackYard Chickens!

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

What gorgeous chickens and chicks! Thank you for sharing. Stinkbugs is a great term of endearment for them! We're glad you're here!
