yes, they are locked up. honestly, they've been with us for over two years and the only other time I couldn't find them was when there were hawks and they were hiding under the back deck up against our home. I also watched my security footage and I saw what happened. They were all killed. One killed while the other dragged the bodies away. I backed up my footage once I went outside this morning and saw feathers everywhere and no sign of my chickens.
