Hi I'm L.A.W.
I've had chickens most of my life (my parents had chickens growing up) save the four years I was away in college. I currently have around forty chickens, 4 turkeys, 4 guineas, and 4 geese (unknown breed and I suspect are all female which ruins my hatching plans for this year).
Most of my chickens are barnyard mixes a this point of rhodies, barred rock, bahmas (light, buff, and dark) austrlopes, ee, olive eggers, cinnamon queens, ayam, speckled sussex, mystery "doved" (what I like to call them) australope ooking chickens (from rural king $1 bin) copper maran, majestic maran, and polish.
Turkeys: 2 broad breasted white hens, 1 bourban tom, one broad breast white and bourban cross tom.
Guineas: 3 pearls, 1 pied bald pearl
geese: brown grey mystery breed from traitor supply
Favorite aspect of raising birds: the sustainability it brings to my life and the absolute cuties they are in all stages of their life.
I joined to be able ask questions in the forums rather than searching and hoping I find answers in the already existing forums. I've known about BYc for a while as when i ask google brd related questions it would often guide me to one of the forums on here.
Cheers, LAW
