I'm thinking of changing the waterer for my ducks, since all I have is a raised bowl, and I'm getting tired of that setup. It was what we started with two years ago, being completely new to ducks, but now I'd like something more efficient.

I've seen ideas here before, but I wanted to ask personally what are you guys' setups for homemade duck waterers? I'm thinking of using an old bucket and cutting out holes for the head, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it.

Thank you!

I use old ice cream containers. Easy to get out ice/crack it and deep enough for there heads to dip into. It's simple but efficient for me.
Thank you! I like that idea. I guess the one thing I can count lucky for living in Florida is that I don't have to deal with their water freezing over...Today and yesterday were really the first days it got down into the 40s!
