I've been working on these for a while and had friends test them out, they say they're far superior to others they have seen and tried out.
Rhythm Bead Necklaces:
Give a nice beat when you're riding so you instinctively work with your horse to improve your rhythm for whatever your speed.
They are also said to improve a gaited horse's beat, possibly for the same reason as given above.
Some people have reported that they have a calming effect on nervous horses because it gives "white noise" for them to focus on, rather than pay attention to every little rustle of leaves. No matter what reason you choose, they are melodic and beautiful, and are the perfect gift for and equine lover.
I make my necklaces out of quality materials. The beads are various sizes and finishes of glass, sometimes with a few resin/polymer scattered throughout. I use various types and sizes of bells, choosing the best ones for the particular necklace. Each necklace has a focal piece that sits at the center of the chest, and a finial at the opposite end, making it easy to make sure your necklace is centered while riding. All the beads are strung on jeweler's wire and crimped shut in several places, ensuring that the necklace will hold together even with some rough handling.
DO NOT LEAVE RHYTHM BEADS ON AN UNATTENDED ANIMAL. Glass, metal, and wire are not safe things for large beasts that are known to do silly things like trying to see how high your vet bill can go.
These are a few examples of necklaces I have available. I can adjust the size to be smaller on the pre-made necklaces, and I love working to select the best color scheme to suit your steed when making a custom necklace. I can post more pictures of available necklaces if anyone is interested. Prices vary from $45-$60 a necklace, the higher prices going to those that are heavy one crystal and semi-precious stone.
