How can I register my chickens if I think they are show quality?

What is the procedure if I want to register a chicken for a show? What is the proper breeding term for poultry? (like AKA for dogs).

If there is a show in an area you want to enter you contact the show secretary and request a catalog which will have an entry form included. You have a cut off time for making your entry.

Most forms request size (bantam, standard, duck) breed, color (variety), cock, cockeral, pullet, hen. The number of each you are entering.
