I just found one of my small flock chickens dead, I have about 8 birds. No signs of predation whatsoever. Thirty minutes ago she was with the other chickens in the garden eating worms. No signs of illness or anything from what I can tell, was acting normal.

I am worried about the rest of my flock. This chicken was just a year old.

Apple cider vinegar with the mother in the water at a ratio of 1 tbsp per gallon and food grade diatomaceous earth free range (avail to eat freely 24/7)

Southern Ontario, isn't very hot out today. She was one year old. No strange poop from what I can see
I'm sorry for your loss.

The only way possibly figure out what happened is to send your bird to your agricultural lab for necropsy or do one yourself.
If you wish to do one yourself, then post some photos, we may be able to help you with what you see.
