How do I know If bantam eggs are fertile?

My bantam has laid eggs.She only sits on them at night.I was told that If they are not fertile a chicken will not sit on them? How will I know if they are fertile.And how long does it take for them to hatch? I have never hatched eggs before. Thanks for any advice.

I either crack one of mine to look for the proof or put them in the incubator and candle on day 7.

And a chicken (if broody) will sit on ANY egg fertile or not. Heck they will even sit on wood eggs

21 days to hatch eggs out
