How do you get rid of mole crickets

LOL lazy gardener.... But cricket is too boring, the chickens don't have a long enough attention span to succeed at it.

To the OP: why do you have them, would be the question to find an answer for. I believe it's got to do with the ground type, but I'd have to learn more about them. I've never seen mole crickets be a problem in any way, so if you have an overabundance it would be due to the area being suitable, and surrounding areas being unsuitable, and if you know the reason why it's suitable, you can change it to make it unsuitable.

For example with some large grubs in gardens that cause problems, the actual issue is the soil being unbalanced, in this case being too acidic and this being solved by an application of lime. It's a very helpful thing, lime, solves, many issues, the last few posts I've replied to would benefit from some lime being applied.

There are also non-harmful pesticides you can use. Organic farming sites have plenty. They range from things like fermented spice sprays, to planting things like Marigolds or Citronella, to spraying a natural oil like Neem oil over the area affected.

Best wishes.
