How do you litter box train a rabbit?

Is litter box training a rabbit as simple of just putting hay in a box? What if they pee and poop outside the box?

Rabbits tend to go in one place, so that's why they can be litter box trained. I've read if they aren't using the box move it to the place they are choosing to go, and they should use it. I don't keep rabbits in the house, so this is just from my reading, and observing mine.

I've never litter box trained a rabbit before (@Kiki might have), but when I had rabbits, I was told to watch where they go to the bathroom the most. Put their litter box there and that's how they learn.
