I just built a card board bator. The temp is pretty good with a 2 degree fluctuation. How do I measure humidity. I use warm towels on a plate for humidity

I would never try incubating without one, having done it both ways... I get ten times better hatch with a hygrometer. Cost less than ten dollars at Walmart and last for years. Spring for the hygrometer. You will not regret it.

You can use your thermometer to give you a "wet-bulb" temperature and then use a "conversion scale" to give you the humidity from that reading.

Search on Internet for "wet-bulb reading" and "humidity conversion table"

That SHOULD give you the information you need.
