Favor-roll? Favor-ell? Fa-vorel? Need I go on?

I am getting some Salmon Favorelle chicks (among over breeds) and I joke with my DH that we're getting Salmon Favors...he calls them the ones that lay in the winter.

I know ya'll are smart here...can ya help me?

The "l" in salmon is silent.

Fav as in fabulous (but substitute v for b), er as in butter, olle as in roll.

I don;t know that they lay in winter--you'll have to ask someone else for that.

The salmon I was cool with. I just have trouble with the favorelle part. Thanks for my english lesson...er, french maybe?

They are suppose to be great layers in winter weather...that is one of the reasons we chose this breed!

I love this one...I know I never say it the correct way--if there is one...So I dont' even try....I mess it up on purpose...
I call them Sal-a-men (Sal as in the Guys name) Fav-or-rel-e's(kinda soundin' Italian)....lol

It's kinda like saying Brett Favre's name...(Far-ve, or Fav-re---which I mess up on purpose too just to get under my husbands skin)...
