How likely, or is this even possible?

I know you shouldn’t count your chickens before they hatch but how about showing your quail? 4-H animal registration is due May 1, I put down 4 birds, all of which are currently on day 12 in the incubator, my registrations are basically place holders until I figure out what is actually going to the fair, but it is a little presumptuous me thinks!

random sort of related fact;

there are 18 different vent orientations in a chicken vent, so while vent sexing is possible, you may encounter some wild orientations.

15 female chicks?! YES protect that hen at all costs lol collect all her eggs, make money 💰💰💰💰

I would love to keep my Japanese bantam hen pare and sell pure bred japs but they have been throwing some blind chicks so next year I’ll breed her to a different male. and if there’s still disabled chicks I’d have to stop breeding her, I really hope it’s just my rooster problem in the kindest way possible. bean (the hen) has 4 more eggs due next weekend and the weekend after…pretty sure there all going to be hens. I also don’t really like vent sexing I find it more difficult with the small breeds
