how long do antibiotics take to work?

she's currently getting some meds in her water, but I'm going to get some injectable penicillin in a little bit... how long does it take before I'll notice a difference IF it is going to make a difference?

In my experience I generally notice a difference within 24 hours with the water soluble antibiotics. I've not had to use injectables...and hope I never do!

My experience with injectable antibiotics was very positive. My hen started to perk up within a few hours and started showing interest in food. They work really really well.
